I was wanting to know how long to takes to competely go thought the processing and get the card.

The time you have to wait between your application and receiving the credit card, depends on your credit history, bank and credit card you want to get. After you submit your aplication, you will get a reply within 1-10 business days, and if you were approved, you'll receive your credit card by mail within up to 30 days.

I currently have a First Premier Visa card. I was informed I have charges pending to Dish Network. I did not authorize these charges. Haven\\\'t even had Dish Network for nearly 3 months. The agent I spoke to said there is nothing I can do about these charges because Dish Network has the card number and the expiration date. Why is there no way for me to stop unauthorized charges? Plus, I took out the insurance at the time I recieved my card. What is that for?

Answer:

You should be very serious about it and apply to your bank and complain about those unauthorized charges. Second, you should apply to Dish Network to clear out the case. If nothing will come of your actions, in the end, you have a legal right to solve the problem in the court.

It depends on what credit you are having at the moment. You just apply for one or several credit card according to your credit score and annual income and pay them off accurately - on time and making more than minimum payments. Thus you can surely increase your credit rating. Be careful and don't use half-legal methods of boosting your credit (some companies can offer to you).
